For the hexagon front panel you’ll need:

ultra fine thread
hand sewing needles
fabric
2 pieces of card stock (or 77 half-inch paper hexagon templates)
glue basting pen

For pouch construction you’ll need:

8” x 8” essex cotton-linen blend for back
2 pieces of 8” x 8” cotton for lining
2 pieces of 9” x 9” quilt batting
safety pins or fabric adhesive spray
7” zipper
